Prescriptions – COVID-19

If you need to order a repeat prescription please either do this using the online system or eConsult, or call in between 10am and 1pm Monday to Friday. Do not drop off paper requests and you will also not be able to collect prescriptions from the Surgery. These will either be sent to the Pharmacy electronically or collected by them.

Please also be aware that pharmacies are experiencing a high volume of requests whilst also struggling with staff illness. Therefore, it is essential you get your requests to us for processing at least 2 full working days before you need them. For example, if you need them before a weekend then you should have the request into us on Tuesday, this allows us 2 full working days to process and get it to the pharmacy and hopefully they will be able to have it ready for you on the Friday for collection but this will depend on the individual pharmacy’s circumstances.
