Clinical Governance

Clinical Governance is the system through which NHS organisations are accountable for continuously improving the quality of their services and safeguarding high standards of care by creating an environment in which clinical excellence can flourish. (Department of Health).

Our Clinicians meet on a regular basis to review cases, methods of treatment and changes and developments within the industry which may impact on the services and care we offer to our patients.

Our Clinical Governance Team meets fortnightly to review patient feedback, concerns and complaints as well as any in-house clinical matters that need to be reviewed. It’s also really useful to discuss what’s going well to ensure we keep doing it.
