Prescriptions – Bank Holiday Weekend & Royal Mail Strikes

Don’t forget we have a Bank Holiday weekend this weekend – 27th – 29th August.
The surgery will be closed Saturday, Sunday & Monday and re-open on Tuesday 30th.
If you need to order prescriptions please do so as soon as possible so that staff can get them processed for you.
We’ve had communication from LloydsDirect regarding deliveries and the Royal Mail Strikes which are due –
Due to the upcoming Royal Mail strikes, our delivery times might be affected. For this reason, we’ve recommended that our patients order earlier than usual. This means that you might receive prescription requests from LloydsDirect patients earlier than anticipated.
The Royal Mail strike dates are:
• 26 August
• 31 August
• 8 September
• 9 September
We’re also working closely with Royal Mail to minimise disruptions.
Delays might occur on the strike dates and the days following when they are catching up.
