You may well be aware of current developing situation regarding corona virus (COVID-19). The government, NHS and Public Health England are working hard to ensure that all patients and staff are protected while ensuring the continuation of services. The current approach is to identify potential cases of COVID-19, isolate them and reduce the potential spread of the virus. This model is devised to protect primary care, the ambulance service and our emergency departments so they can operate as usual and assist the sickest patients.
