Travel Immunisations

If you or your family plan to undertake a trip abroad then expert advice on immunisations and other health issues is available from our practice nurses.

You will need to complete an Online Patient Triage request, selecting Admin Query then the Something Else option. To do this please click here.

Within 2 days you will be sent a Travel Immunisations form to complete. Once this is completed and received by the Practice it will be reviewed by a Nurse and an appointment will be booked, or advice given as necessary. This may take at least 2 weeks. The immunisations need time to become effective in your body before you can travel so please ensure you are contacting us at least 6weeks in advance of your travel, ideally 2 to 3months before you travel.

Exeter Travel Clinic is the Southwest’s Travel Health Specialist and they may be a good option for some of our patients. They are a local travel medicine specialist with appointments to suit you. Their belief in healthy travel means consultations are free and their prices are low. More information can be found on their website here

Further advice is available from the MASTA website at www.masta.org
