Vacancy - Trainee Administrator – Part-time
We have a part-time vacancy for 12hrs a week, available mid-June to the end of August.
2.30pm to 6.30pm Tuesdays and Fridays, and one other day to suit both parties.
There may also be the opportunity for additional hours over the Summer.
Primarily working within the Patient Services Team, the duties may include:
• Sorting and distributing incoming post and deliveries
• Preparing outgoing mail
• Scanning in documents
• Updating and replenishing documents
• Prepping the rooms for the next day
You will also learn about the more in-depth Patient Services work with patient records and patient interactions. You will get to learn about the operational administration which includes communications and marketing, rota planning, finance, HR, H&S and facilities. There will be online training courses to complete as well. The role is designed to help alleviate some of our end of day pressures whilst offering opportunities to the right candidate to learn valuable administration skills and gain knowledge that can be transferred to future jobs. Although if the successful candidate works hard and shows commitment, reliability and an aptitude for the work then we may be able to continue the role but on reduced hours from September.
4pm or 4.30pm to 6:30pm 3 to 5 days a week, to suit both parties.
No previous qualifications or experience are necessary, but we are looking for someone who is confident and capable using computers and photocopiers, knows Microsoft office packages well and is willing to learn more. You need to be self-motivated and able to work using your own initiative but are happy to ask for help when needed. You will need to understand and respect confidentiality and the importance of patient records; attention to detail and being meticulous are very important. You will also need to be sensitive and mature when dealing with any paperwork or interactions relating to a patient’s health and wellbeing. An interest in a future career in health or social care would be beneficial to make the job more interesting for you, whether that’s within medical administration, nursing, social prescribing or as a GP. A friendly, positive and enthusiastic approach will help you within the team and good communication skills.
The pay is dependent upon age:
16 to 17 £4.35
18 to 20 £6.15
21 to 24 £7.70
25 and over £8.21

Vacancy - General Practitioner
We are looking for a dynamic GP who is keen to be involved in projects to improve patient services, processes and procedures or specific areas of responsibility of the practice.
